Three Step Strategy to Improve your Life 

Each problem can be broken down into a simple three step strategy.

Step 1:  Identify the triggers and what the problem is actually about.
Step 2:  Do the work to resolve the problem and therefore break free of the triggers.
Step 3:  See yourself beyond the problem enjoying your life free of the problem.

This approach can be done in one session for non complex problems or may take three sessions for more complex issues.

Single Session (Hypnotherapy)

Just one session with me can make a massive difference in a person's life.  Each session is tailored to the client's specific needs.

A single session would be ideal for someone who is struggling to break past a barrier that is holding them back, such as improving confidence in an area of a person's life, reducing anger, non complex pain work, moving past a traumatic event.

Three Sessions (Hypnotherapy)

Some issues are multifactorial in nature and take more than one session to resolve.

Issues that take more than one session are things such as anxiety, IBS, chronic pain and complex trauma.  

During your initial consultation Debbie will be able to tell you whether she believes you will one or more than one session.

Integrating Auditory and/or Sensory Processing into your Treatment Plan.

Many people have issues with auditory or sensory processing creating a variety of challenges in life.  

What this means is that while the ears may hear perfectly well, the brain doesn't always interpret sound well.  It may be that the brain is unable to determine the direction the sound came from or that the brain is not able to block out irrelevant sound such as other conversations or background noise around the listener.

Senses can become overloaded confusing the brain - sounds, smells, tastes, touch and sight are all interpreted by the brain simultaneously.  Have you ever turned down the radio when you need to concentrate on a difficult task or closed your eyes when listening to important information.  In doing either of these things you have shut down a sense to give the other sense a better chance of accurate interpretation.

I integrate the Dr Tomatis Soundsory program into my treatment plans to help people who have issues with auditory processing and/or interpreting sensory stimulation to move past their issues.  This system is particularly beneficial for people who struggle with emotional regulation, anxiety caused by auditory or sensory overload, ADD, brain injury recovery, balance and posture issues and for those who want to boost their cognitive and memory retention skills.

For those that are interested in energy work to release imbalances in the body I offer both Emotion Code and Body Code developed by Dr Nelson some 25+ years ago. 
This is a very gentle way of releasing unprocessed emotions stuck in the body as well as resetting the body energetically to improve a variety of ailments and issues in a very gentle and respectful way.

Life coaching and hypnotherapy to help you change your subconscious programming

I offer a blend of life coaching and hypnotherapy to help people make deep-level changes in their lives. By working with the subconscious mind, we can remove the emotional bookmarks from past memories and come to a point of understanding. This allows you to change your "programming" , update your beliefs about yourself and your abilities and create a more fulfilling life.

My approach is different from traditional life coaching or counseling because I focus on the subconscious mind. I believe that this is the key to lasting change.

I have experienced emotional and mental trauma, as well as suffered from irritable bowel syndrome, myself. This gives me a unique understanding of the journey that my clients are on.

Is hypnosis safe?

Hypnotherapy has been used for decades to help people with a wide range of issues. The type of hypnotherapy I use is interactive and client-centered, which means that you are fully in control at all times.

Hypnosis is a natural state of relaxation and focus. When you are hypnotised, your brain waves slow down, just as they do when you are asleep. This allows you to access your subconscious mind, where your deepest thoughts, feelings, and memories are stored.

I use imagery, usually from your favourite place in nature, to help you relax and focus your conscious mind. This allows your subconscious mind to open up and reveal what is causing the issues.

Once you are in a hypnotic state, we can work together to address the issues that are troubling you. This may involve releasing negative emotions, changing limiting beliefs, or simply gaining a deeper understanding of yourself.

Do you work with children?

Yes, I do require that a parent or other adult the child trusts be present at the appointment.

Children generally find hypnosis to be an enjoyable and easy way to make really deep level change in their lives quickly.

Do I join online or in person?

I offer both online and in-person sessions. You can choose the option that best suits your needs and preferences. Online sessions are conducted via secure video conferencing software and offer the convenience of meeting from anywhere with an internet connection. In-person sessions take place at my office and provide a more personal touch.
